Together, they form an unlikely yet hilarious and touching friendship that kicks the generation gap aside and redefines the meaning of love and trust.<div><br></div><div><div><b>Alan Zweibel </b>An original “Saturday Night Live”writer, Alan Zweibel has won five Emmy, and two Writers Guild of America awards for his work in television which also includes “It’s Garry Shandling’s Show” (which he co-created and produced), “The David Letterman Show” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” A frequent guest on all of the late night talk shows, Alan’s theatrical contributions include his collaboration with Billy Crystal on the Tony Award winning play “700 Sundays”, Martin Short’s Broadway hit “Fame Becomes Me”, and the off-Broadway play “Bunny Bunny – Gilda Radner: A Sort of Romantic Comedy” which he adapted from his best-selling book. Alan has written eleven books including the 2006 Thurber Prize winning novel “The Other Shulman”, the popular children’s book “Our Tree Named Steve”, and “A Field Guide to the Jewish People” that he co-wrote with Dave Barry and Adam Mansbach. His humor has appeared in such diverse publications as The New Yorker, Esquire, The Atlantic Monthly, the New York Times Op-Ed page, The Huffington Post, Air Mail, and MAD Magazine. In 2010, Alan was given an honorary PhD from the State University of New York and because of the diversity of his body of work, in 2013 the Writers Guild of America presented him with a lifetime achievement award. Currently, Alan has just finished a screenplay to be directed by Academy Award winner Barry Levinson, is putting the finishing touches on a new novel titled, “You First” and has recently sold a forthcoming TV series called “The Middle Seat” to YouTube.</div><div><b><br></b></div><div><b>Gary Kroeger </b>attended Northwestern University where he helped found The Practical Theatre Company with fellow alums Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Brad Hall. This association caught the eye of Saturday Night Live producers in 1982 and the three of them became regulars on the venerable late night comedy show.
