Curatorial statement:
I landed on Raiders because I wanted a movie that would benefit from the big screen, appeal to all ages, and something that had stood the test of time. The stunts are incredible--while you watch Indy chase that truck on horseback or run from the boulder in the cave--not to mention the Nazi face melts at the end--remind yourself that Spielberg employed mostly practical effects: CGI was in its infancy when the film was made. Bring the whole family, kids will love it (but maybe give them a heads up about the melting faces in advance...)
Film Synopsis:
When Dr. Indiana Jones – the tweed-suited professor who just happens to be a celebrated archaeologist – is hired by the government to locate the legendary Ark of the Covenant, he finds himself up against the entire Nazi regime.AdventurePT1H55MPG2025-08-16Harrison Ford
