Local author Hy Conrad will moderate a special conversation with Tony and Josie. This event will take place off-site in the Manton Auditorium at the Clark Art Institute.<div> </div><div>Each ticket includes a signed copy of the book. This special event is a benefit for Images Cinema. <div> </div><div>Hy Conrad is the author of ten mystery novels, earning him a Scribe Award and three Edgar nominations from the Mystery Writers of America.  Along the way, he developed several popular games and interactive films, hundreds of short stories and thirteen books of solvable mysteries, published in over a dozen languages.  His television credits include White Collar, The Good Cop and eight seasons as writer/co-executive producer of the ground-breaking series, Monk.  His most recent mystery is The Man on The Bench, the third book in the Callie McFee series. Tony Shalhoub is an Emmy-, Tony-, and Golden Globe–winning actor whose career spans film, television, and theater. He is best known for his roles in Monk, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Wings, and has appeared in dozens of acclaimed films and television projects. On Broadway, he has performed in The Band’s Visit, for which he won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical, as well as Conversations with My Father, Golden Boy, and Act One. He has also received multiple Screen Actors Guild Awards, among numerous other honors recognizing his work on stage and screen. We Thought They’d Never Leave is his debut book. Josie Adams is a writer, producer, and founder of House of Water, an independent production company focused on writing and development.
