Member curators of this film: Jim & Lucy Shepard Curatorial statement: We’re both huge fans of Zodiac for lots of reasons, but one is that it's such a great hybrid of the hyper real and the stylized, which is perfect for a meticulous reconstruction of famous murder case that’s also has to be a subjective construction. We love the way the movie both exposes the mania behind obsessively wanting to get to the bottom of a bottomless mystery and creates that mania in the viewer: the way, like the Zodiac killer himself, it induces us to play its game.
